When you don’t abide by the cosmic directions communicated by cosmic forces, penalty is inevitable.
Sri Devi was born in a Brahmin family of Ayyapans and she was raised as a Veg. Sridevi’s chart shows that her death was something to do with her husband. The chart shows potentials and I didn’t even look at the transits, but indeed it could be that her husband had something to do with her death.
Her chart shows that her husband caused her much sorrow (Saturn square the Moon, Sun and Venus) though he could have been wealthy (sextile Jupiter). It shows he could have been deceitful (square Neptune – craftiness, planning) and this is the very same aspect that also shows a possible murder.
Saturn square Neptune. There’s so much about this aspect and where it’s taking place in her chart. Neptune is in her house of self and the root, which shows the last years of life. It’s in the sign of death Scorpio. That in itself can be a promise of not seeing much old age.

1- On 24th Feb 2018 , Sridevi was running Sat Mahadasha- Sat Antardasha- Sun Pratyantardasha- Venus Sukshma dasha- Venus Pada-antardasha and most importantly Saturn Mercury Deha-antradasha.
2- The critical time for Sridevi was this Deha antardasha of Sat-Mercury which lasted from 15.30 hrs on 24th Feb to 2.21am on 25th Feb 2018.
The TV news reports mentioned death time of Sridevi to be between 6pm-9.30pm on 24th Feb 2018.
3- Incidentally Saturn Deha-antardasha lasted from 15. 30hrs (3.30pm) on 24th Feb 2018 to 21.16hrs (9.16 pm) on 24th Feb 2018.
4- It was followed by Mercury deha –antardasha till 2.21 am on 25th Feb 2018.
From the face value of the TV news it is apparent that Sridevi passed away probably around 6pm on 24th Feb somewhere within 30 minutes of her meeting with her husband Boney Kapoor in the room apparently due to accidental drowning in the bathtub.

v- 8th house transits indicate surgery, hole in the body, hospitalisation, secret enemy, secret money, in-laws,longevity,sudden changes, sudden loss of consciousness,foreign lands ( Saturn transit indicates western direction foreign lands), shared money, alimony, sudden death and resuscitation,failed relationships, career changes ( end of one phase of career and arrival of new), law suits, etc among other things.
vi- So Saturn transit in 8th house since the year 2017 indicates lots of physical and emotional changes in Sridevi. While it also indicated sudden loss of consciousness and death, it also indicated revival possibility due to timely intervention.
vii- Revival was a possibility since Saturn rules both 7th and 8th houses in her natal chart.
Hence it is very critical to know what exactly happened between 3.30pm- 9.30 pm of 24th Feb 2018.
Media reports are not very detailed so far about exact sequence of events and if any medical staff of the Hotel reached her on time , what was the time gap in revival efforts and who all attended to her within the critical period between 5.30pm- 9.30 pm after she allegedly went for bath and was found unconscious/ dead.

The presence of Kahresh Mercury time in deha-antardasha between 9.16pm on 24th Feb 2018 to 2.16 am on 25th Feb 2018 indicates infliction of some wound by some sharp object which if happened can be verified from forensic report if at all it is made public in future.
But since it is a very unexpected death under mysterious circumstances this author feels that the circumstances of Sridevi’s death needs a proper police investigation to rest all speculations and to clarify all gaps in time-event chart leading to and immediately after her death.
Whether proper resuscitation and revival procedure were given to her immediately after she was found in bathroom is a very key question given the indication of fatal astrological indications.
Summary;
The combined analysis of Mahadahsa and Transit effects for this chart clearly indicates that Sridevi was going through a very distressing time physically and emotionally. Physically more distressing due to Maraka Mahadasha and sudden changes indicated by bad transits aggravated the situation.
I do not know if Sridevi or her family believed in astrology or consulted any astrologer, but had they done so these Maraka and extremely bad time-events could have been brought to their notice.
Though death is a certainty for all of us yet under certain circumstances certain Vedic counter measures can be adopted to mitigate the situation and the inevitable can be delayed for some time if certain benevolent blessings are available in time.

In Sridevi’s case timely forecast and timely assistance would have kept her alive at least till the year 2026-27.

Mostly orthodox hereditary Vedic Astrologers have that insight and Astrology Talent proficiency, whereas others in general have access to general texts which are at times difficult to interpret. And Astrology talent is not a widely available talent.
Sridevi was a talented actor who excelled despite her lack of formal education or formal training in Art of Acting.Her horoscope Mahadasha gave her that elusive stroke of very prolonged good luck and success to shine above others.
Her untimely demise is a great loss to media craft and her death circumstances are needed to be properly investigated to figure out the secret angles which is indicated by 8th house transit of Saturn in her chart as there seems to be much to the incident than that meets the eye.
Every human life is valuable and that of talented people is most valued. Hence the concern and analysis of her astrological Horoscope to have a detailed idea about the time-event indicated from astrological angle.

Life can’t be restored to her by the prevailing medical technology available to humanity in our era and while we learn astrological lessons from her life events at least justice should be done to her in case it was something other than just another natural accidental drowning .
The death of Sridevi, who was born in south India, but left her imprint all over India with her acting talents, has shocked all of us. Why did this happen? What does astrology say about her unexpected death?
Sridevi was born in Rishaba rasi, Kataka lagna, and Krithika nakshatram. The Seventh house is the Kalathra-sthanam, the domain of the spouse/life partner, according to astrology. The same house is also the Marga-sthanam, that is, the domain of death.
Death or the danger of death occurs when an ongoing dasa is the same as the dasa of the graha in the Seventh house from the lagna.

The same Sani, who is the resident of the Eighth house, brought about her death, sitting in the Seventh house.

She became a big celebrity because Sevvai, Mars, was in Kanni, the Third house, the Keerthi-sthanam, the domain of fame. She became the darling of the masses because of Meena-Guru’s aspect of Mars, which gave her the Guru-mangala-yogam.
Another aspect which bestowed on her a huge yogam was the aspect of both Guru, and Chandra, on the Fifth house, the yoga-sthanam, the domain of fame and fortune. However, despite all these unique features, Sani’s presence in the Seventh house, during the Sani dasa, resulted in her untimely death, leaving her legion of fans in great sorrow.
