Finding the Mudakku House - a Worked Example
The Mudakku house is the Mudakku Rasi counted from the Lagna. Suppose the Sun is in Krittika and the Lagna is Libra.
- Krittika is star 3. 12 - 3 = 9, so the Mudakku star is the 9th star, Ashlesha.
- Ashlesha lies in Cancer, so Cancer is the Mudakku Rasi and the Moon is the Mudakku Lord.
- Counting from Libra (1), Cancer is the 10th house. The Mudakku falls on the house of career.
In this tradition, such a person might notice that career efforts stall near completion more often than the rest of the chart would suggest, and the remedy would be directed at the Moon and the 10th house.
Reading Mudakku Calmly
- It is one factor, not a verdict. Every chart has a Mudakku house; it shows where patience is needed, not where life will fail.
